How the estimate works: stitch count is estimated from the area your logo covers at the size you picked, times a density for the detail level. A real digitized file usually lands within about 15% of that. Every order is checked against the actual digitized file before it runs — if it comes back more than 15% over, we call you before charging anything extra.

Keep lines at least 1 mm thick and text at least 0.25 inch tall. Swap gradients and photo detail for solid areas of color, and limit the design to about 6 thread colors. A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) digitizes the cleanest, but a sharp PNG works too.

Block and sans-serif fonts at medium to bold weight stitch the cleanest. Very thin scripts, tight serifs and all-caps text under 0.25 inch tall tend to blur. If your brand font is delicate, we'll suggest a close match that holds up.
What Is An Imprint Area?Each spot on a garment has a maximum size.Read tips
The imprint area is the largest your logo can be in a given spot: about 4.5 inches wide on a left chest, 11 inches on a full front, 12 inches on a full back, 5 by 2.25 inches on a cap front and 4.5 by 1.75 inches on a beanie cuff. The quote tool caps each spot for you.

How much do custom embroidered items cost?
You pay the blank garment plus $1.00 per 1,000 stitches in your logo (minimum 5,000 stitches). A typical left-chest logo is about 8,000 stitches. The garment price drops at 10, 25, 50 and 100 pieces, applied automatically in your cart. One-time logo digitizing is $40, free on orders of 24 or more. Is there a minimum order size?
No. Order a single embroidered piece or hundreds. Your price per piece simply drops at 10, 25, 50 and 100 pieces.
How long does embroidery take?
5–10 business days from the day you approve your stitch-out proof. Larger orders may take a little longer; we'll tell you up front.
What shipping options do you offer?
Free local pickup at our Hoffman Estates shop, and free shipping on orders of $75 or more anywhere in the US.
Can I bring my own garments?
Yes. Choose 'My own garment' in the quote tool and drop your garments off at our shop. We'll confirm the fabric works before we stitch.
What file should I send?
A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) is best, but a sharp PNG or JPG works. We digitize your logo and email a proof before anything runs.
What happens if I'm not happy with my order?
Nothing is stitched until you approve the proof. If something doesn't look right when your order arrives, call us at (224) 553-3999 and we'll work it out with you.
