Step by step
- Turn off steam and empty the water — steam ruins transfers.
- Use a hard flat surface like a table with a towel, not a soft ironing board.
- Preheat the garment area for a few seconds.
- Position the transfer print-side down and press firmly for 15–20 seconds per area, overlapping sections — press straight down, don't glide.
- Peel hot, then cover with parchment paper and re-press each area for 10 seconds.
💡 Honest tip: an iron works, but pressure is the secret to durability — lean your body weight into it. For frequent pressing, a basic heat press pays for itself fast.
